“China Rubber Conference 2007” successfully held in Sanya, Hainan

China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) successfully held “China Rubber Conference 2007” in Sanya, Hianan in March 20, 2007. Almost 500 delegates from both at home and abroad in NR & SR industry attended the conference. Based on the principle of “resources sharing, supply meeting demand, friendly cooperation and striving for development”, “China Rubber Conference 2007” covered more aspects than that of 2006, especially the participation of the synthetic rubber producers and distributors made the conference much more magnificent.
The “China Rubber Conference 2007” included three parts: the first was the paper presentation, the second was the face-to-face business talk, and the third was visiting the rubber estate and rubber processing factory.
On the conference, Mr. Ju Hongzhen, the chairman of CRIA firstly addressed the salutatory; then Mr. Guo, the deputy director general of Hainan Farms, addressed the welcoming statement; Mr. Smit, the secretary-general of IRSG, made the speech about forecast on rubber supply & demand of China & world; Mr. James, the chairman of IISRP, made the speech on prospect on the future of world synthetic rubber; the chairman of Taiwan Rubber Industry Association also made the speech; Mr. Fan Rende, the secretary-general of CRIA made the speech on current situation and development of China rubber industry, forecast for rubber demand in 2007.
Associations from NR product & trade countries introduced NR production situation respectively. Indonesia Rubber Association(Gapkindo), Vietnam Rubber Association and Thailand Rubber Association respectively introduced the current situation and future development of NR industry in Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. The chairman of Rubber Trade Association of Singapore introduced current status & need to reinforce its traditional integrity in global NR trade. Hainan NR Industry Group Co.,Ltd. and Yunnan NR Industry Group Co.,Ltd. introduced NR production and market situation in Hainan and Yunnan. The Tokyo Commodity Exchange made the speech on the NR price trend in Tokyo Commodity Exchange and Shanghai Futures Exchange. CIFCO made the speech on how to escape from the price risk in futures market. Shanghai Tire & Rubber (Group) Co., Ltd. made the speech on tire industry development and rubber market demand. Through information communication, the rubber enterprises can basically knew NR market situation,? do the analysis of the NR price trend and further understand the NR demand both at home and abroad.
Besides, the conference also provided opportunities to the delegates for face-to-face business talk on the market & products of NR and SR. After the conference, the delegates visited Qionghai private NR estate and private Qionghai Tianbao Rubber Processing Factory. From it, the delegates found that the rubber plant farmers have been positively for the rubber plantations , and have strived to increase the output.
There were more than 40 delegates from foreign countries attending the conference, of which, Southeast Asia countries were Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore; while major SR production countries were America, Japan, Russian, Germany, Poland.
Hainan Vacada Investment Co.,Ltd. and Hainan Farms respectively held banquets for all the delegates.
On the conference, CRIA declared that The Third China Rubber Conference 2008 would be held in Kunming, Yunnan, China next year. We already have the experiences of holding the past two conferences, we are sure that we can bloom the rubber conference of 2008 and try to make it the best.
